4 days Gorilla trekking holiday safari and Wildlife adventure tour
Day 1: Kampala Bwindi Gorilla trekking Forest.
Start the Journey to south west Uganda at 6:00 am local time passing through Masaka Mbarara road to Bwindi the Gorilla sanctuary with a stop over at the Equator to take photos. The drive will take you through towns, homesteads, grasslands, and banana plantations to reach the park in the late evening, check in your lodge, freshen up then retire with dinner and overnight at Gorilla resort / Buhoma community bandas.
Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking holiday adventure in the Impenetrable Forest.
Past breakfast with packed lunch you will transfer to the park headquarters for briefing and then later on at 9:00 am you will set off for a thrilling activity (Gorilla tracking) in search for great apes. Depending on the movement of these humble giants the walk might take between 2-8/9 hours before you encounter the Gorillas. The walk is tiresome however meeting these great apes and spending some time with them while looking deep into their expressive brown eyes is real interesting Drama that every one wishes to be part. However, the joy one gets immediately when the great apes are meet, it clears away all the sweat. Thereafter, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Gorilla resort / Buhoma community Bandas.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth with a boat trip (launch cruise).
Following breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park via Ishasha sector where you will have a game drive enroute and get a chance to see and take right positioned photos of the tree climbing Lions, Uganda Kobs, and monkeys to mention but a few. There after, proceed to the park headquarters arriving in the afternoon aright time for boat tripe’s on the Kazinga channel that connects Lakes Edward and George. This launch cruise will reward you with variety of water habitants like hippos, buffaloes, and plenty of birds. For birders this is another paradise. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge / Mweya Hostel.
Day 4: Wildlife safari adventure in Queen Elizabeth /Drive back to Kampala .
Before sunrise you will go for a game drive in the pack to search for predator and nocturnal dwellers as they return to their hide outs. Expect species like Elephants, buffaloes, side stripped jackals, hyena, leopards, Lions, warthogs, Uganda Kobs, Giant forest Hogs and many others. After the game drive you will drive back to Kampala arriving late evening.
