5 day Gorilla safari adventure tour uganda & Uganda Cultural Tour
Day 1: Arrival plus a visit to Uganda’s finest Uganda Cultural music and Dance troupe.
Following your arrivals time is the transfer to the great cultural site to be refreshed from the long travel to Uganda. During the activity expect to experience an exciting entertainment welcome from at the Ndere Centre in Kampala which will make you fall in love with the African Culture. See how amazingly the dancers wiggle their bodies to the lovely beats of the traditional instruments. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Africana/Holiday express hotel.
Day 2: A Kampala cultural Tour Uganda.
After Breakfast, depart for a city tour round cultural sites in Kampala with a lunch enroute at a convenient place in town. These include Kasubi tombs where Buganda kings and royals are buried, Kabaka’s lake and Palace, Naggalabi coronation site, Uganda Museum, Cultural Market, Bahai temple, Namugongo shrines and many other interesting sites, learn the real history of what happened in Buganda, the transformations they have gone through and how different cultures interact without clashing with one another. Dinner and overnight at Africana/Holiday express hotel.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi National park for the gorilla safari adventure.
Past breakfast, set off for the long journey to Bwindi National park which is around 9 hrs drive via Masaka ,Mbarara road with a lunch enroute in Mbarara.There after, proceed to the park, arrive late evening ,check in at your lodge ,and fresh up while awaiting for your dinner. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla resort/ Buhoma community Bandas.
Day 4: Gorilla safari adventure plus a community walk/forest walk.
After an early breakfast, report to the ranger station for registration and briefing by one of the ranger guides. Enter the gorilla sanctuary for trekking adventure, pushing your way through the undergrowth and parting thick creepers. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movement of these great giants. If you have the afternoon free, you may decide to take a guided walk on the Munyanga River trail, which is an ideal short walk or take a guided village walk to see how Ugandan live. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort / Buhoma community Bandas.
Day 5: Return journey back to Kampala.
After a morning breakfast, sorrowfully return to Kampala with great memories of moments spent with the fascinating Uganda culture and the gorilla safari adventure. You will have a stopover in Mbarara for lunch. Drop-off to your respective accommodation in Kampala or transfer to the Airport to catch your flight. This marks the end of your uganda safari.
